The Letter For The King

In other words: The Letter for the King, of course after the legendary youth book by Tonke Dragt. This Netflix series is of course also about the young knight Tiuri. He is still being trained, but then receives a mega-important task: to deliver a letter to the king. There is some momentum as an evil prince wants to take a power grab.

Dare Me

Thriller series based on the bestseller by writer Megan Abbott. Beth (Marlo Kelly) and her devoted best friend Addy (Herizen Guardiola) hold sway over their school cheer leader group. Until a new coach comes and brings a lot of drama into their lives.


The English Game

Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes’ new series The English Game explores the origins of modern football. We follow the lives of a group of students who came up with a form of football to a group of factory workers, who even set up a whole competition. It all takes place in the mid-19th century. So the real start of football.

Feel Good

Stand-up comedian Mae Martin, who still struggles with various addictions, starts a stormy relationship with George, a woman who previously only had relationships with men. The relationship ensures that both women suddenly have to face demons from their past and present.


Altered Carbon: Resleeved

With Resleeved, Netflix is building on the epic world of Altered Carbon, the futuristic sci-fi series in which the mind of a human can be implanted in a new body – with which, in fact, one creates eternal life. Season 2 recently came out, but this animated series is quite separate from the events of the live action series. We follow the mercenary Takeshi Kovacs again, but in a completely new setting and a new criminal case.

The Indian Netflix Original series She revolves around the somewhat shy and reclusive agent Bhumi. When she is put on a dangerous undercover mission to expose a drug gang, she discovers how powerful and confident she actually can be.

Vampires

French Original set in Paris. In Vampires – the most original name for a series EVER – we follow a teen who finds out she’s half-human, half-vampire. While discovering her bloodthirsty powers and trying to keep her in check at the same time, she also gets a secret vampire society behind her.

Self Made

Self Made tells the true story of the African-American entrepreneur Madam C.J. Walker, played by Oscar winner and all-round boss Octavia Spencer. She built a large hair care company from scratch and became the first self-made millionaire.
