New Series on Netflix January 2023

Netflix is starting the new year strong with the experimental series Kaleidoscope and new seasons of Ginny & Georgia and Vikings: Valhalla. And That ’70s Show fans won’t want to miss the debut of its spinoff series That ’90s Show once again starring Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith as Kitty and Red.

Below you can see the full list of everything new on Netflix in January and a couple highlights to check out.

Kaleidoscope – Season 1

Netflix is starting the new year with a daring experiment. The Kaleidoscope series revolves around a group of burglars who want to crack a heavily secured safe, but the viewer decides in which order the episodes are viewed. The Netflix Original is made in such a way that every episode is easy to understand, even if you haven’t seen the previous one. As a result, you puzzle together your own series.

Copenhagen Cowboy – Season 1

The idiosyncratic director Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive) makes his first Netflix series with Copenhagen Cowboy. A mysterious woman named Miu (Angela Bundalovic) prowls Copenhagen’s underworld and takes revenge on the criminals who made her life a living hell.

Ginny & Georgia – Season 2

Young mother Georgia (Brianne Howey) always had a good relationship with her teenage daughter Ginny (Antonia Gentry), but that came to an end in the last episode of the first season. Ginny discovered that her mother had lied about countless things and decided to leave with her little brother. The second season shows how things continue with the young twosome.

Vikings: Valhalla – Season 2

Vikings: Valhalla isn’t about the iconic Viking Ragnar Lothbrok and his relatives. This spin-off is set a hundred years later and follows, among others, Leif Erikson (Sam Corlett) and his sister Freydís (Frida Gustavsson). In the last episode, a great battle led to a lot of bloodshed and Leif has even more reasons to deal with his great enemy Olaf (Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson).

That 90’s Show – Season 1

In this sequel to That 70’s Show, Red (Kurtwood Smith) and Kitty (Debra Jo Rupp) get their granddaughter Leia (Callie Haverda) to visit during summer vacation. The teenager makes some new friends, so that Red and Kitty suddenly have a group of young people over again.
